Bion C. Welker was a United States (U.S.) Army soldier who was stationed with the 311th Field Artillery, 79th Division, American Expeditionary Forces around the end of World War I (WWI). He then was assigned to occupation duty in Germany. Following WWI he became active in the 104th Cavalry, 28th Division.
